How did we get our start?

MyMoldDetective was founded by a mold remediation expert who with 20+ years in the industry realized there was a void in the market place for an easy, cost-effective solution that allowed people to reliably test their properties for mold. After a few years of research and development, My Mold Detective was launched at the National Hardware Show in 2013. Since then we have remained committed to providing the most reliable, DIY air testing system available.

Additional sample accessory packs can be utilized to sample additional rooms when combined with mold test kit. Please Note: One (1) Outdoor air sample is required per sampling session.
