How to set up the detector to make it ready to detect?
Turn on and wait for 15 seconds to warm up. Please keep in mind that the warm-up process should be performed in a known ‘clean’ environment to achieve accurate results.
How close does the detector need to be to detect leaking gas from a natural gas pipeline?
Generally 0.4-2.0 inches (1-5cm), depending on the severity and concentration of the gas leak.
What gases can the AGT-1385 Gas Leak Detector detect? Can it detect CO or sewer gas?
The AGT-1385 Gas Leak Detector can detect combustible gases such as natural gas, methane, and propane, and cannot replace a carbon monoxide detector or a sewer gas detector.
Flexible Probe & Multi-Gas Detection: AGT-1385 natural gas detector features a 6.8-inch flexible gooseneck that easily reaches tight spaces like behind stoves or under gas lines. It detects over 10 combustible gases—including methane, propane, butane, and natural gas, helping prevent accidents
Bright Color Display & Smart Alarms: AGT-1385 gas leak detector for home features a clear color screen that displays real-time gas concentration values. The color of the values and the alarm beeping frequency change based on the gas concentration to help you quickly assess the severity of a leak
Quick Detection & Wide Range: AGT-1385 gas detector offers dual-mode detection with high and low sensitivity, delivering fast detection within 0.5 seconds across a wide range of 0-9999 ppm. Please allow 15 seconds for warm-up before use
Portable & Energy-Saving Design: The compact propane gas detector fits easily in your pocket or toolbox. It automatically powers off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save energy, and the low battery indicator reminds you to replace batteries promptly
Package Contents: This set includes the AGT-1385 natural gas leak detector, a user manual, and two AAA batteries. Lightweight and easy to carry, it’s perfect for everyday use by homeowners, RV enthusiasts, and DIYers
